A dentist or oral surgeon examines your teeth, gums, and jawbone through X-rays, 3D imaging, and impressions to determine if you’re a candidate for dental implants.
A personalized treatment plan is created based on your oral health. If the damaged tooth is still present, it will be extracted before placing the implant.
If your jawbone lacks the required density or volume to support an implant, a bone graft may be performed. Healing can take several months.
A custom-made crown is crafted to match the color, and size of your natural teeth. The crown is secured to the abutment, completing the dental implant process.

The founder, Dr. Sheikh Ummae Hani, has carried forward the values and vision instilled by her father and grandfather, who dedicated their lives to serving society. Her grandfather, Late Sheikh Noor Mohammad, was a former Aeronautical Ground Engineer in the British Royal Air Force and a social activist, whose commitment to service and humanity became an enduring inspiration for the family.
His contributions include donating land and funds for the Kasturba Gandhi Ashram, serving as a Founding Member of Jama Masjid, constructing Masjid-e-Sheikh in South Sarania, donating land for the Sarania Kabarsthan and Chilarai Nagar Namghar, and supporting the establishment of several Eidgahs and Madrasas in both Guwahati and Kolkata.
For Dr. Sheikh Ummae Hani, ALIGNDENT is therefore more than a dental clinic. It represents a personal commitment to serve people with sincerity, compassion and excellence, while making quality dental care more accessible to the community.
Dr. Sheikh Ummae Hani has been creating and transforming smiles since 2019. Her professional journey has taken her across different parts of India, including Lucknow, Moradabad and Delhi, where she gained experience in diverse clinical environments and worked with patients from different backgrounds.
Today, she brings that experience back to her home state of Assam, with a vision to build a dental centre where specialist expertise, advanced dentistry and compassionate patient care come together. Through ALIGNDENT Dental Studio, she hopes to contribute to a healthier and more confident Assam — one smile at a time.
